Soccer has been a part of the Istria Sport Club since 1959. Through the years we have had many teams and each have been successful. As players grew up many moved on some even had professional careers. The more experienced players became coaches for our younger teams. Today we have several groups for more information contacts are below.

HUNTING

Hunting is another one of the old country past times. We have a small but active (and accurate) group of hunters. The weekend -long trips to the upstate forests differ from the easy going Sunday hunting in Istria. They require more dedication and stamina. And for us who stay in town, more patience.. Expectations are great when our team is out in the woods...
If they get lucky we all stand a chance to have a feast.

MARATHON

Running is not a bright spot among our club's achievements, but we do have an outstanding performer in the field. Nevio Dobry. He runs 15 miles every day and competes with great success in all major marathon races (New York, Yonkers and Boston Marathons, to name a few).
